Oxygen Park is a novel initiative by the Padath that offers a natural green space for people to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The Park is a first of its kind in Kerala spanning over 2.5 acres on a hilltop about 5 Km from the town of Ranni, Pathanamthitta, Kerala and is close to many tourist hotspots such as Gavi, Konni etc. The Oxygen Park is lined up with "assorted bamboo" trees that generate 40% more oxygen than other trees and absorbs more than 400 Kgs of CO2 in a year. In addition to the bamboo trees, the Park has several fruit trees and a vegetable garden that is fully organic. The Park offers modern facilities for overnight stays and day trips with accommodation for up to 6 adults at a time. The attendance numbers are limited to ensure people experience the expanse in a tranquil environment. Visitors can enjoy the walkways that span across the park, go cycling, do ropeway walking, fish feeding or simply relax reading a book on a hammock. The Oxygen Park is at the core of Padath's vision and mission and we are very passionate in ensuring its success and hope others may be inspired to replicate it in their own ways.
